Wuxi Medical Instrument Factory Co., Ltd. was founded in 1968. We started as a manufacturer of mercury clinical thermometers and mercury blood pressure monitors, and have been dedicated to medical device manufacturing for over 50 years.
At its peak, our mercury thermometer production accounted for around 20% of the global supply.
In 2004, we worked with German material experts to develop mercury-free clinical thermometers. We became the first manufacturer in China to successfully develop and mass-produce mercury-free clinical thermometers.
Today, mercury-free clinical thermometers remain one of our core products, with one of the largest production capacities in the world.
We are also one of the organizations involved in the development of China's national standard for clinical thermometers.
Over the years, we have expanded our product range to include alcohol prep pads, aneroid blood pressure monitors, surgical blades, surgical needles, and other medical products.
